Namsan Tower: Love is in the Air

HOLAAAA! finally i made one post again here.

i've made big mistake with delete all albums in my Google+ account, while one of them is connected with Blog's picture -,,- since that day, i was too lazy to update this blog again. but, many people (who just found my blog randomly) asked me this and that about Korea, and told me to update my blog again, so here we go.

Today's post is NAMSAN TOWER!

Namsan Tower is the icon of Seoul itself. some people called it Seoul Tower ^^

You can find the cute love shape things as soon as you've arrived there.

do you know why is Namsan tower so famous among the couples? because you can lock your love lock over there.
At Seoul’s Mt Namsan, thousands of love padlocks can be seen hanging on the fences around the base level of N Seoul Tower. Locks of love is a custom in some cultures where love birds would lock their padlocks at public areas and throw away the key to symbolise that their love will be locked forever.

and you also can find the couple chairs everywhere. since i dont have any boyfriends to go with, I asked Yudra to take a  pic with me LOL.
my next visit should be with my future husband :)

i think the best time to go here in summer is around 4pm or 5pm.. because the sunshine will be little bit friendly. for winter...... hmmmm sangcheol oppa ever asked me to go here once in winter, but i think it will be so windy and COLD. so i dont think going here in winter is a good idea. except you can bear with cold weather.

Also! dont forget to take a pic with Haechi! hihihi. Haechi is official symbol of Seoul. The haechi or haetae was often used in architecture at Joseon's palaces and was seen as a powerful and important symbol by Joseon's rulers

If you ever watch korean drama Princess Hours, you might know Alfred, Prince Shin's cute teddy bear.

Updated: unfortunately teddy bear museum in Namsan has been closed since November 2013 T_T_T
if you want to make a visit, you can go to Jeju Teddy Bear Museum or the other cities, such as Gyeongju, Chengdu and Seorak.
You can read my other post about Jeju Teddy Bear Museum here

I will give you some of teddy bear museum pics in Namsan. I made a visit 2 years ago in May 2012.

2 years-ago-pic is so different -,-"

SPOT PRINCESS HOURS THINGS!
If you want to go to observatory, you should pay around 8,000 won for the entrance ticket. there's restaurant on the top floor, but it is soooooo PRICEY.
i wish someone propose me over there someday huahahaha.

you can write your wish in this love wall
the Seoul view from the top
How to go there
Access by taxi or car is prohibited so you’ll have to walk, take a bus, or cable car.

1) Get off at Dongguk Station (line 3) exit 6. And take bus to Namsan Tower. it should be 5~10 minutes by bus.
2) By Cable car: Get off at Myeongdong Station (line 4) exit 4. Try to find Pacific Hotel. usually there's shuttle bus in front of Pacific Hotel that pick you up to go to cable car station for free.
Fare (cable car): Round-trip: 6,300 won, One-way: 4,800 won
you have to queue around 30~45 minutes for cable car on weekend because so many people.

if you are in tight budget, you can just go to Namsan by bus. and also cable car is too crowded T_T

Snowy Day in Korea

Snow!

I live in this world for 21 years and 2 months, but it's my first time seeing the snow a month ago(?)
The first snow in Seoul was officially coming down on November 18, 2013.
I saw my friend's pic on Facebook, and i was like, "are u not too early to post last year picture of snowy day on facebook?"
and Im so suprised when i read the caption "first snow in seoul today"

so I said to my team member that im going to toilet to see outside (because the window is quite far from my seat, and i was on training that time), and when i saw outside the window, damn its real!
so pretty.. I know im such a dorky people, but i bet i was going to cry that time. because i was so touched, and suddenly miss my sisters and dad. It would be nice if you guys could see snow like me. T_T

And the day after, the snow also came to Seoul. but maybe because the temperature was not cold enough (around 0 degree that time) so the snow melt as soon as they reached the ground.

On December 12, when I totally forgot about my winter, suddenly another snow came down. so pretty.
and it covered the ground with the pretty white color.
Finally, i could see my snow wonderland in real life.

December 14, I went to Inha University to play around with Devi. She was in exam period, so she couldnt go to Seoul because she had to study.
I guess the snow came heavier than in Seoul that time. I was so so so so so happy. its so cold, but i didnt care. We did (fake.lol) snow fight and some photoshoot around the campus.

I will never ever forget my first experience with snow. Having December time in other countries which have winter season is my dream since I'm child.
Thanks God. I love my 2013 so much. I hope my 2014 will be much much much moremoremoremore fabolous than this year :')

Last picture of the day. pardon my dorky side. hohohoho.

BuzzKorea Tour: BIFF Street

Day #2  BIFF Street
credit: buzzKorea.. uh nice picture! makes me wanting to buy new lens for my camera ♥
So we went to Busan International Film Festival Street on day #2.

What did we do there?

First we had lunch in one of seafood restaurant.
I guess thats the famous restaurant for seafood because Wonder Girls Sunhye and her husband have visited here before.
They stick the picture of them at the front door.

WOW~ Im not big fan of seafood actually, but when I saw this in front of my eyes, I couldn't help but kept eating.

After finishing our lunch, we had some free time for going around this area.
Firstly, Marai and I tried to buy Heotteok and ate that.
You can eat that delicious food with only 1000 won!

After that, we tried to eat Patbingsu! Its red bean ice~
Running Man had their filming in this area.
My tour guide said this area is famous because they still use the traditional tools to make they ice for Patbingsu.

You should try eating Patbingsu here! its so delicious!

And then, we passed by street food. This area is famous as well. But unfortunately I didnt have time to try eating there T_T

Its so crowded place with tons of Busan teenagers. If you ever go to Myeongdong, this place is similar with Myeongdong.

That time there was a stage and many people gathered nearby that stage. That day, TOP had like meet and greet (?) there at night. So many fans of him came from afternoon for finding good spot
That time was the same day with Busan International Film Festival. Lucky me could go to Busan in right time ^^

So, if you like shopping or just for hanging out around with you friend, this place is recommended for you.

See you on my next post!~ ^^

They have so colurful house. and they also paint the wall with colorful and cute things.

You can also try to eat some foods in this village while going around.

They also have stamp things. If you dont want to miss any sides for the photoshoot, you have to collect all stamps.
When you collected all those stamps, it means you already walked around all area in this village.

Did you watch Running Man for December episode last year?
Yes! they had filming in this place! ^^

And Marai said that Infinite(?) also made documentary in this place.
