A Childhood Dream: Jeju Teddy Bear Museum

1st post in 2015~ wuahahahaha.
I wish I could update this blog more often =,="

today topic is Jeju Teddy Bear Museum!!!  my high school friend just sent me Line yesterday, and asked me about Teddy Bear Museum. so, here we go!

I'm totally a big fan of teddy bear. Research has recently revealed that around 10% of adults sleep with a teddy bear! Picking up teddy and having a cuddle is often part of the bedtime ritual that supports me in a good night’s sleep. hohoho
so, when I heard about Teddy Bear Museum in Korea, I squeezed it up in my itinerary.

What's inside?

It's museum that full of teddy bears~ It has many kinds of theme, like fairytale, superhero, famous world stars etc etc etc. To be honest, I'm not a good photographer, so I cant take pics with good angle!
some of people there took very good pics, so the result was like a real one!

cutieeee

Have u ever watched Korean drama Princess Hours (궁? Chae Gyeong went to Jeju Teddy Bear Museum that time. I forgot which episode it is.
You can spot Princess Hours corner when you go to Teddy Bear Museum.

remember this?

Shin and Chae Gyeong

Do you know Alfred? I adore him so much! kekeke. Alfred is Shin's best friend. Shin always brings Alfred wherever he goes, since he doesnt have many friends.

For shopping mania, dont worry! They have Teddy Bear Museum shop on the ground floor. The teddy bear doll is quite expensive, but I suggest to buy one for your companion during night's sleep

pick me! please take me home
Oh, this kind of pic is mandatory! no one will believe you going to Teddy Bear Museum without this photo =)) you will not miss it since the bear is sooo big!

Teddy Bear museum in Jeju has outdoor area! You can go outside and meet those cutie teddy bear and friends.

Last but not least, you can watch the cutie performance from Elvis Bear! kekekeke. the performance is about 5-10 minutes.. and the show is held every 20 minutes!

UNESCO World Heritage: Seongsan Ilchulbong

whats up! first post in May 2014~

yessss it will be about my favorite place in earth Jeju Island! do you know that Jeju Island is also on the list of the New 7 Wonders of Nature?
actually it's just same with our beautiful island, Bali. but, there are some places in Jeju which you SHOULD go there once in your life.
and i'll post about one of them now.

Seongsan Ilchulbong (Sunrise Peak) is a must-go for tourists visiting Jeju Island. That place is the first Korea's UNESCO Natural World Heritage site.
Seongsan Ilchulbong is a perfect spot to catch sunrise. That is why it earns the name "Sunrise Peak".

I'll start this post with the story of my partner in crime during this trip. I went to Jeju with Kute, one of my Vietnamese roommates in our apartment. she never heard about good places in Jeju before, so I offered help to arrange our itinerary by myself.
We had so many places to visit, but we didnt have enough time. so I made the tight schedule for 3 days 2 nights trip. Kute cant drive so we agreed to use public transportation to go here and there. Actually I have my driver license, but you know that Korea are left hand side, so it would be so dangerous for me to drive =))))))

We took the earliest flight from Seoul that day. So, we've arrived at Jeju International Airport around 9AM.
I told you before that we're in tight schedule, so we rushed to Seongsan Ilchulbong as soon as we arrived in Jeju.
It takes 2 hours and half from airport to there.
uh can you imagine how far it is?

But trust me, you will not regret spending 2 hours and half for fantastic view.

aaaaa this amazing view
After walking around 5~10 minutes from the bus stop, we found this beautiful view. and couldnt help but took many picsss.

on the way to entrance gate

my roommate, Kute
We arrived at the entrance gate. you have to pay 2000 won per each person for the entrance ticket.

The ridge provides an ideal spot for walks and for horse riding. Can you spot the horses?

one of my favorite picture
Jump shot is mandatory in this kind of place right? hahaha. so we tried to take some pics. here are some fail shots and nice shots.

the sea is soooo blueeeeeeee. huhuhuhu.

say KIMCHI!

Although the peak does not look as tall, but it is very steep! and you know, we couldnt go to the top since Kute wore her wedges =.=" huh i told her to use sneakers or her running shoes instead of wedges =.="
and, since we went there direct from the airport, we still brought our heavy bags, and its impossible to go to the top with those stuffs.T___T i'll go to the top someday i swear!

Since we didn't have much time, we only spent an hour in Seongsan Ilchulbong. we had to go to our guest house to check in and took some rest.
Bye-bye beautiful Seongsan Ilchulbong!
