Fly to the Sky with Sky Lift in Seoul Grand Park

Seoul Grand Park is one of famous place in Seoul. It has so many attractions, like amusement park, zoo, botanical carden, camping site, etc etc etc.

It's been a year since my last year trip to Seoul Zoo.
I've tried to go there with Yudra, Wongso and Stefanny who had summer school in Inha university last year.

After finishing our lunch in KFC (my first time spending so much money for buying KFC. KFC in Seoul is much much much expensive than in Indonesia), we went to Seoul Zoo.

KFC bulgogi burger!

take a pic before eating
The Zoo is quite far from the main gate. You can go there by bus or by sky lift . If you want to take a bus, you should pay 1000 won for each person.

main entarance. turn left to the amusement park, turn right to the zoo ^^

Since sky lift looked more interesting, so we chose to ride it.
The price is 5000 won for 1 person. We bought 4 tickets. Yudra and I were in first cable car while Stefanny and Wongso were in the next one after us.
It's so funny when I looked back and found Wongso's frozen pose riding the sky lift.

5000 won each person

freeze kekekeke

our handsome Yudra :)

meeeee in pinky pinky

Its so interesting! I mean, I've ever tried riding this kind of thing in Genting, Malaysia. and that's 1000 times scarier than this one! I swear.

We can see the beautiful scenery from the sky lift. Seoul Grand Park is so big! You cant visit all of them in one day trip.

After around 15 minutes of ride, we arrived in Seoul Zoo.

ah, one thing! If you ever watched 4men Music Video "Thank You", you might know this scene? Yes its in skylifter in Seoul Grand Park! ^^

my favorite Music Video

And this is Yudra and I trying to copy the scene. hahaha. similar? =))

Fangirl Time: Super Junior's Kiss the Radio!

helloooo. since so many people requested to make a post about how to go to KBS to see Ryeowook DJ, I will make it now ^^

If you're an ELF, you might know that Ryeowook has daily schedule for being DJ in KBS.
the program name is Super Junior's Kiss the Radio~ or its called Sukira.
It's aired every night, from 10PM~12 AM KST.
You can do streaming through KBS website to hear Ryeowook DJ!

6 seconds before on air! wohoooo excited~

the DJs were Hyuk and Teuk until 2011(?) or 2012. and then Sungmin and Ryewook replaced them.
on 2012, Sungmin had drama musical so he stepped down from Sukira. Since that time, Ryeowook become sole DJ until now.

you can see Ryeowook across this place after coming out from elevator to studio
Ryeowook! ^^

You can go to KBS building to see him on air on BORA.
Bora is Boineun Radio (보이는 라디오) or literally meaning Visible Radio (?). They will turn on their web camera, so the listeners can hear and see the studio and DJ through their screen at the same time. And the good thing is we can go to KBS on BORA and see Ryeowook on air from outside the window. Usually there are so many fans waiting from around 9.30PM or 9PM. so make sure you come earlier if you want to get the first row.

i was fatty piggy back on 2012 =.="

There are 2-3 times Bora in a week. so dont forget to check their website about the schedule. usually they will release one week schedule on Sunday, including the guests.

Tips ♥
1. Check the schedule here. The schedule is in Korean, for example  8/11 ~ 8/17 Kiss The Radio 초대 손님을 소개합니다
2. Come earlier to get the best spot
3. If you are not tall enough, you can bring folded chair. Korean fans usually bring it along with them
4. Bring umbrella in rainy seasons, or wear the thick jacket on winter since its outdoor place.
5. If you only want to see Ryeowook, pick the Bora date when there is no guest to avoid many fans coming +.+ Seriously, one day I went to there when EXO came as guest, and it was soooo crowded. SJ fans and EXO fans gathered together +.+

I took some pictures. sorry for Ryeowook fans, but Sungmin's my bias that time. kekeke

The radio will end on 00:00AM KST, so if you are a subway-lover, its better to you to leave on 11PM or 11.30PM as the latest. I know its kind of heart-breaking to leave the place so early, but for me I never want to take cab because its little bit expensive compare to subway.

♥ Address: 대한민국 서울특별시 영등포구 여의동 KBS방송국 본

How to go there:
1. Seoul subway Line 9 : National Assembly: Exit 4.
2. Walk straight out of exit 4, going straight until you hit the end of the road and then turn right. The location is to your right and it's really hard to miss especially at night. It takes around 5~10 minutes.

I'm Craving for Patbingsoo!

I'll introduce with what-you-should-try to-eat-in-summer!
yes for Patbingsoo!

Patbingsoo is a Korean shaved ice dessert with sweet toppings such as chopped fruit, condensed milk, fruit syrup, and red bean paste. The snack is highly popular in South Korea.

There are so many restaurants that serve Patbingsoo on summer. but, my favorite is Caffe Bene's.
They have Patbingsoo with Oreo topping. the taste is sooo heaven! im fans of Oreo to be honest.

Usually the price is around 9000 won~ 12000 won. You will die of happiness when you eat the first spoon in the hot summer. its just perfect for summer~
the cheaper one is only Patbingsoo without any topping like strawberry, Oreo etc etc etc. The plain Patbingsoo is ice and red bean.

my favorite!
the plain Patbingsoo. its delicious as well!
Actually the price is not so expensive since you can eat it together with your friends. So usually the waitress will ask you, "how many spoon do you need?"

Wongso and Yudra came for summer school! wrong focus picture, sorry T_T

Caffe Bene's spoon is cutie pie~

with favorite companion, Devi eonni
In Busan, you can find traditional Patbingsoo in Busan International Film Festival street. the sellers still use traditional machine to shave the ice. I dont know the price because that time my friend bought it for me.  I think its around 8000 won.

try me when u come to Busan ^^
So, dont be so jealous when you see thousand of couple in Seoul eating Patbingsoo together in summer. you can have your own too!
Which taste do you want to try?
